Get your members to enter the new FIDIC Contracts Awards today!

Pe, 18.10.2019 - 12:33

As a valued FIDIC member association we would very much appreciate it if you could make your member firms aware of an exciting new awards programme for the users of FIDIC contracts that we think they might be interested in entering.

The new FIDIC Contracts Awards gives users of FIDIC contracts from around the world the opportunity to demonstrate excellence and showcase examples of good practice through collaboration. As well as recognising excellence in project delivery and good practice, the awards will provide a showcase for and raise the profile of the FIDIC contract user community.

The awards are sponsored by construction consultants Accura Consulting and the chair of the judging panel is civil engineer and former UK High Court judge Sir Vivian Ramsey of Keating Chambers in London.

The first winners of The FIDIC Contracts Awards will be presented at the London FIDIC Contract Users’ Conference in December. Entries are invited across nine categories but we would very much like you to consider encouraging your member firms to enter the following category: -

  • FIDIC Consultant of the Year - This award is given to a consultant to recognise an outstanding development contribution to the effective use of the FIDIC contract.

We think that this category would be very suitable to tour members and we hope that they would be interested in entering this category in these new FIDIC Contracts Awards. The entry process is very straightforward, quick and all completed online.

I hope that you will encourage your members to enter these inaugural awards to help recognise excellence in using FIDIC contracts and to showcase best practice in project collaboration.

With best wishes
